Beaverbrook Art Gallery
The Gallery is internationally known for its outstanding collection of British paintings from the Elizabethan era to the modern period and for its Dali, Krieghoff and Gainsborough collections. The Gift shop sells art related cards, posters, post cards, books and gifts.

Historic Garrison District

Christ Church Cathedral
The Cathedral cornerstone was laid in 1845 and modelled after the medieval parish church of St. Mary's at Snettisham, England. It was declared a National Historic Site in 1983. The Cathedral is one of the finest examples of decorated Gothic architecture in North America, and is the reason Fredericton was declared a city. Watch out for the ghost of Bishop Medley's wife who is said to still haunt the grounds.

Old Government House
Go back in time with the Vice-Regal residence featuring magnificent architecture, period New Brunswick furniture, and current art pieces in elegant public rooms. The 11 acre site was once part of the 17th century Acadian settlement known as Sainte-Anne.

Farmer's Market
The WW Boyce Farmers market is a Saturday morning tradition in Fredericton. Farmers, artisans, crafts people and others offer a tempting array of fresh harvested vegetables, home baked bread and sweets, fresh meat, poultry and eggs, crafts, and flowers, as-well-as, a variety of ethnic food prepared on the spot for hungry shoppers.
