Alternative methods of controlling pests and diseases
2009 PAA Symposium sponsored by the Plant Protection Section

Alternative methods of controlling pests and diseases are on everyone's radar screen these days, as issues of economic and environmental sustainability draw increasing attention, and consumer demand for organic produce rises. Speakers will provide overviews of currently used alternative pest controls, and information on how widely used and effective they are. Pathogens, nematodes, weeds, insects and integrated control will be discussed by a diverse collection of speakers.
